Western Slope Camping Trip
The Western Slope trip was well attended as there were about 10 campers. We enjoyed a group breakfast, a happy hour (or two) and some trips to a couple of local wineries. Some groups also went to Colorado National Monument and golfed at Redlands Mesa Golf Course.

Longmire Days, Buffalo Wyoming
Longmire Days in Buffalo, WY was the subject of the next trip. The town was filled with Longmire TV show stars and dedicated fans, including Jeanne and Jim Doering. Unfortunately, several club members who had planned to go, ended up having to cancel their trip for various mechanical or physical issues. Jim and Jeanne still represented our group well and have provided some very cool pictures.
Ft. Collins KOA Shakedown 2023
The first camping trip of the new season was to the Lakeside KOA in Ft. Collins. Thirteen campers went on the trip and they enjoyed the campground, the group bike ride, the New Belgium Brewery tour and dinner at Coopersmith's Pub and Brewing. The weather was surprising good for early June.

Manor RV Park
The final 2022 camping trip to Manor RV Park in Estes Park, CO was enjoyed by 13 of our club member households that participated in the 3 night stay. The trip included a pot luck dinner the first night, pancake breakfast the next morning, and a planned evening picnic dinner at Sprague Lake in RMNP. Some took hikes, played golf, sat by the river and read, and even drove over Trail Ridge Road into Grand Lake for the day. Our day always ended with the group gathering by a campfire. One of the big highlights of the campground was when a large bull elk and his 15 cows and young chose a path through our camp sites, into the river, and onto the grass on the other side. Thank you Stan and Roxanna Sheets for hosting this trip.

HTC RV CLUB EXPO
The first ever HTC RV Club Expo was held on May 23, 2022 in the HTC parking lot. It was a huge success. More than 50 people came out to see the 12 RV's that we had on display. Elk Meadows Campground
The first club camping trip was to Estes Park where we stayed at the Elk Meadows Lodge and RV Resort. There were 6 couples who participated. We visited Rocky Mountain National Park for hikes, great scenery and photos. We also spent some time in Estes Park shopping at the many shops, and some played golf one afternoon. We enjoyed cocktails some evenings and had a pancake breakfast one morning and all went to dinner the last night there. A good time was had by all.

Royal View RV Resort
We started 2022 with a trip to Royal View RV Resort in Canon City. We had 6 couples who joined the trip and most of the group stayed 4 nights. The campground was very nice and provided easy access to the Royal Gorge Bridge. The bridge was originally built in 1929 but the surrounding area was heavily damaged in the fire in 2013 but has been fabulously rebuilt. We had cocktails every evening, a Pot-luck dinner one night, a BYO BBQ dinner, a taco bar dinner and a pancake breakfast. We also visited The Abbey Monastery, The Abbey Winery and a prison museum. The last night we went to White Water Bar & Grill for Margarita Night and the Av's victory.

All Members Meeting
The largest yet All Member Meeting was held on June 29, 2022 @ 4:00PM at the HTC Clubhouse. We had many more members join this year and we had the largest group meeting yet. We discussed next year's plans, this year's remaining events, our new website and we had the owners of Mericle RV talk to us about their business.
